Hi, I’m Iris.

My rescue journey started 33 years ago with Novell the donkey in Germany. I felt sorry for him because he was standing alone in the snow with no food or shelter. I decided to take him home.

Since moving to the U.S., I started a Fandango Sanctuary that has grown into a safe haven for over 100 animals—chickens, horses, pigs, cats, dogs, turkeys, cows, and goats—all given the love and care they deserve!
